The back of the ring has been left open as the underneath of the opal also has incredible colours
This opal comes from Lightning Ridge mine in Australia, renowned for its rare black opals
Julia's favourite find when she visited the huge Tucson Gemstone show earlier this year
The opal measures 15mm x 12.5mm, top of the ring including balls measures 20.5mm x 18mm
